From Boys To Men
 
We have a vision here at The Little's House, and that is to plant positive seeds in the minds hearts and spirits of At-Risk young men.With the gangs of New Jersey constantly recruiting our children, we feel the need for such a program is enormous.
The Little's House Inc. Includes
TLH Mentoring and The Little's House Residental Treatment Center for young men ages 11-17
We plan to offer:
  • Physical Fitness- A physical fitness schedule will be followed daily.  The physical activities include: a morning jog or walk, and  weight training. Including swimming lessons at the local YMCA. Golf lessons(seasonal)
  • Technology- Keeping up to date with our ever changing technology.
  • Job Ready Program- Each individual will seek employment during their stay and open a bank account. Individuals will learn how to write out a check and a money order. They will be taught the importance of establishing credit and how important it is to maintain it. The individuals will learn the basics of the stock market and how to successfully interview. Each individual will learn the importance of  Dressing for Success and  learning how to tie a tie, polish a pair of shoes, iron, and posture
  •  Chores- Daily chores will be enforced.
  •  Drug and Alcohol intensive counseling- Each individual will participate in an intense drug and alcohol   treatment program.  
  •  Health- Will focus primarily on personal hygiene, STDs, The Male and Female Body, and Coping with stress, depression and anger management.
  •  Outside Trips and Recreation- All trips will be based on a weekly behavior modification program.
  • Table Etiquette- Upon Successful completion of the program each individual will successfully complete our Table Etiquette  program. The proper usage of kitchen utensils in public
  • Community Volunteer Work- CVW each individual will give back to his community on every Saturday of their one month stay.
  • Activity Rooms- Games, such as   XBox 360, Chess, Ping Pong, Projectors with a full movie screen, Activity room will be based on a weekly behavior modification program.
  •  Morals & Ethics- Individuals will participate in an amazing program that will focus on their ethnic backgrounds as well as learning basic manners.
  • Hip Hop & Politics- Explore hip hop culture combined with today’s politics.
  • Counseling- Each individual will go through counseling, the counseling will include group and one on one sessions with licensed counselors.
